We asked a few of our accessory friends to answer the question “I knew I loved fashion when ____” and are loving their responses & pictures!

Ashley Bellman from Dooney

I knew I loved fashion when I learned the power of dresses and bows! I have been obsessed with accessorizing ever since!

 Ashley

Amy Oselkin from Clarks

I knew I loved fashion when I modeled for Saks Fifth Avenue and told them I preferred to wear the party dress instead of the sailor outfit since the sailor outfit was my style "last year."

 Amy

Bethanie Lori

I knew I loved fashion when I over-accessorized to the point of exhaustion

Bethanie

Maria Lougheed from Sole Society

I knew I loved fashion when I was seven years old.  Jumpsuits were the hottest trend in the 70's and I had to have one in pink!

 Maria

Mark Fisher

Since I was a child. I was born into an American footwear family and raised in a world of shoes. By the time I was11, I knew I would never be a doctor, lawyer or fireman. I have always wanted to be a shoe guy.

Some of our hosts want to offer their wedding day (& life beyond!) advice to the beautiful bride-to-be. Peek at their wedding day pictures and read their messages to Courtney!

Jane Treacy:

"Remember to breathe and enjoy your day! Nothing goes exactly as planned, and those are usually the moments you will treasure forever!"

Amy Stran:

"Try your very best at some point during the ceremony to look out at all of your friends and family that are there to celebrate this special moment with you and Aaron!"

Carolyn Gracie:

"Congratulations Courtney and Aaron!!  After 26 years together, my husband Mike, and I agree that three things are keys to a happy marriage (along with L-O-V-E of course!!) Compromise.....Teamwork....and Humor!!! Bend a little at times, help each other out without having to be asked, and make each other laugh!! The next 50 years will fly by!! Wishing you all the happiness in the world!!"

Jill Bauer:

"Take time to step away from the wedding events and festivities to really SEE what is happening around you.  As the bride and groom, it's so easy to get caught up in all the fun and before you know it, the evening will be over, you won't have really seen everyone and everything, and you can't go back!  It's YOUR first celebration as husband and wife....make sure you're really able to have a birds eye view to enjoy the day and each other!"

Stacey Stauffer:

"Eat a good breakfast, Put away the cell phone and Don't sweat the small stuff!"

Antonella Nester:

"Don't expect perfect..things will happen the right way, things will happen the wrong way.... At the end of the day, you will be married to the one you love, and that's ALL the really matters!!! Good Luck & Good Love."

Albany Irvin:

"Learn to listen intently, be willing to compromise, say “I’m sorry” when you’re wrong."

Jacque Gonzales:

"Enjoy the day and all of the love that will surround you!  I'm sending you and Aaron blessings for the happiest and closest of marriages!  (Make sure Lisa catches the bouquet like we made happen in my wedding!) Also, stop and eat at your reception - most couples get too busy to stop, eat and enjoy the moment TOGETHER! :)  I can't wait to see pictures!  Love you!!!"

Sharon Faetsch:

"Don’t expect it to be too perfect. It just doesn’t exist, but remember it’s the little idiosyncrasies and the tiny imperfect moments that will make it your special day."

Gabrielle Kerr:

"Relax! Enjoy the party and appreciate everything! This is one of those rare happy occasions where you get to be with all of your friends and family in one place."

Sandra Bennett:

"After being with my husband for about a decade, I try to remember to treat him the way I treated him when we were first dating. It was so easy to be extra loving, kind, and a good listener. All relationships have their "ups" and "downs." The "up" times are easy. However, during the "down" periods, I make a conscious effort to turn on a little more "sparkle" by smiling at him more, giving more hugs, and making sure we are talking. It's that classic rule: Treat others like you want to be treated. I find it works wonders in a marriage."

Kerstin Lindquist:

"Never live parallel lives.  Despite having different careers and friends make sure you include your spouse in those at work events, happenings & relationships.  He should always be the one you want to tell everything first, no matter what the subject is."

Host Halloween Costumes!

Boo! Did we scare you?! :) A few Q hosts are celebrating the season with a look back at some of their all-time favorite Halloween costumes! Take a peek

Albany

This is me and my brother circa 1975!.  I am on the right!  Our mom made those costumes because we were living In Maine at the time and it was below zero out.  We had on full  snowsuits underneath!!!

Sandra

“My kids are absolutely obsessed with Halloween. Before it was even October we had already made three visits to the Halloween store! Because the kids love it so much, we make it a complete family affair and we go all out!”

Shawn

I think I'm like 7 or 8 here. Have no idea what I'm attempting to be, just that mom made the tie and hat from the comics section of a newspaper. And I'm clearly wearing dads white button down. And clearly I am happy, even though I look ridiculous. Hey, its more clever and creative than buying it off the rack and looking like everybody else (justifying) and I am hours away from a pillowcase of free candy so of course I'm happy (justifying) 😃

Sharon

At my house, we try to make it a family affair!  It's more fun when everyone is in character.  We love the reactions on everyone's faces when they see us all coming together down the street!

Kerstin

I went through this about 6 years where I was either a cat or a mime.  I thought maybe its because I liked the color black? But now, as a mom, I realize it was probably all my mom could put together on short notice, for her very indecisive child. Ha!

Jacque

Halloween 2007 as Big & Little Snow White!  Her nose was orange from all the Spaghetti-O's she loved to eat - and smear on her face!

What was your all-time favorite Halloween costume?

"To my feet shaving, over-sharing, spontaneous dancing, big hearted little sister… Happy 29th Birthday. :)" ~ Rick Domeier

To “My Girl” on her 42nd birthday.  Although I’ve only been around for the last three bdays, I can’t imagine there has been a more challenging several months leading up to this one than the past few.  True love is when the happiness of the one you love is more important than your own.  That’s how I feel about you.  I wish as a bday gift I could give you back what we lost a couple of months ago but that’s out of my hands.  For now, I can only give my love, my support, a pretty cool gift (which has yet to reveal itself) and my silly little love songs that you inspire me to write.  Who knows, maybe one day I will have the courage to record and post one but in lieu of that, here’s a few of my favorite lyrics from the “Shawn Songs” file, as well as the very first picture we ever took together (at the hippie winery) that always makes us smile.  Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
I love you forever!

“Will you be my baby, my crazy, my one and only til forever”… from Along the Way

“You’re my rain and my sun, you’re the beat of my drum”….from Beat of My Drum

“So many dreams we have yet to dream”…from Best Friends

“If the moon and the stars collide, I will be right by your side, because I’m in love with you eternally”…from Eternally

“Your love has taken me higher to a place I want to be”…from Forever

“And home is where I need to see, you right next to me, and we can hide away we can hide away at home”…from Home

"When your song just skips a beat, when our hearts no longer meet, when I know you’re not ok, I will wait for you”…from I Will Wait For You

“Little girl with a fragile heart”…from Little Girl

“Your love takes me higher than I’ve known, it stays with me when I’m alone”…from Snow

“If I had the world I’d give it all to you”…from Your Very Own Love Song

Lori Goldstein, one of the most influential fashion stylists in the industry, translates her impeccable taste and all-embracing style through her line, LOGO by Lori Goldstein. She consistently delivers comfortable, cool, and on trend fashion for every woman and now with the LOGO Littles line, something for the "Little" in every woman's life!

Lori has taught us to layer, transition, and even lounge in style. The LOGO Today's Special Value is a piece we've all been been waiting for. The moment in fashion history when the traditional zip-up, hooded lounge jacket meets a chic, edgy, and even classic style.

Here's a look at how some of our hosts took this piece from the LOGO lounge collection and made it their own.

Stacy Stauffer: "Elevated Office" Look

Take your hooded jacket from casual to classic by wearing it cardigan style with a pair of ankle pants or leather leggings. Throw on a pair of heels to bring amp up your office look.

Albany Irvin: "Edgy Chic" Look

Put together a bold look for a night out and simply throw on the LOGO hooded-jacket to transition from night to day while still maintaining an edgy style.

 Jayne Brown: "Casual Comfort" Look

"Casual and comfy and chic, all at the same time. I plan on ordering one in every color!" While it's still a comfortable, hooded sweatshirt, the asymmetrical cut is flattering and gives the traditional zip up a bit of an update.

 Kerstin Lindquist: "Fashionably Fit" Look

Because who says fitness can't be fashionable? The LOGO TSV makes it easy to run errands, make visits, and essentially be fashionable in public after a great workout.

Calista Tools - How do you Roll?

$

0

Calista Tools get you rolling with an amazing look for the holidays and every day. But the real question is, how do you roll?

Albany: It is easier for me to tell you what I DON’T do in my rollers – I do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING!!

Courtney: This much volume on the low setting.  Enough said :-)

Sharon: I work on home improvement projects!  There's always something else to do ... this is going to be the new laundry room!

Shawn: What do I do when I hv rollers in my hair? Have deep chats w my buddy stylist friend Maria! She puts em in, then we wax on about life goals, let downs, insecurities, and swap love/man advice. I call Maria from Calista Tools, the queen of affirmation. She always has a self help book on her nightstand, and a positive "can do" thought in her head.

Sandra: I'm usually at work when I have rollers in, so I spend the time preparing my notes for the products I will be presenting later that day. Or I just use the time to chat with our stylists, which is way more fun!

Gabrielle: The question is what DON’T I do in my rollers. With two little ones my hands are always full, so when my rollers are in I’m usually on Mom duty!

Kerstin: Me and Gabrielle are on the same page with this one, it’s really what DON’T I do in my rollers! Trying to get the girls ready in the morning, makeup, breakfast…need both hands for all of those things!

Pat: I am the middle of three girls growing up who all had long hair...I remember all kinds of curlers from sponge pink rollers to a rag wrapped around my pony tail but I have found the ultimate in hot rollers!  I wanted to share my excitement about these brand new large size rollers from Calista! They are easy to use and the results are great...

Mary Beth: What I do when rollers are in my hair all depends on how long I plan to keep them in. I brush my teeth if I just want volume and the rollers will only be in for a short amount of time. If I want more curl and therefore the rollers will be in longer, I will either apply my make-up or have breakfast with Mark.

Jennifer: I love the couple of minutes I get to play the Words with Friends game on my phone or look over my show notes while I wait for my rollers to set!

After

We love the various things our hosts do while they let their Calista Tools Set of 12 Hot Wavers Heated Hair Rollers set. How do you roll?

Remembering Joan Rivers

Over 20 years of laughter were brought to the Q by Joan Rivers. The QVC Hosts share their thoughts, sentiments, stories and condolences for Joan Rivers and family. Rest in peace, Joan.

Jill Bauer

But most of all…what I loved about Joan Rivers was her kindness. Yes, her public persona was brash, racy, off color, and controversial. But for those of us who were lucky enough to really know the person behind it all, Joan Rivers was generous, gracious, thoughtful, and kind. From inviting me to her home for Christmas one year because I couldn’t make it home to family, to taking me out to dinner when I lived in London and making sure I had taxi fare to get back to my flat, to sending me a handwritten note after my father died and hugging me tight when she found out my dog, Duke, was diagnosed with cancer, Joan always made sure I knew she cared. In talking with various others in the aftermath of Joan’s passing, I’ve learned how many people have stories of Joan that are similar to mine. She loved people and her giving heart wanted to take care of as many of us as she could. What she gave to us in those moments, was her time. It is a gift that is priceless to me and something I’ll always treasure. I hope I told her “thank you” enough.

Jane Treacy

Joan will live forever in our hearts!

David Venable

It was almost 20 years ago that I first met and worked with the legendary Joan Rivers. I will always remember her humor, support and amazing energy. Sending love and prayers for her family at this difficult time. We will miss our funny and talented friend.

Nancy Hornback

I am saddened to hear of Joan Rivers' passing. As tough as she was, she had a heart of gold. She was incredibly generous and kind to me as a new host, for which I am grateful. I will do my best not to cry. You see on the day of Jeanne Bice's passing, Joan saw me crying. She said, "Oh stop your crying! Jeanne had a great life & she's in heaven dancing with angels!" So to Joan...I know you've had a full life & are now free to be your glorious self with the angels! My heart & prayers go out to Melissa & her dear friend, David Dangle.

Gabrielle Kerr

So sad to hear about the passing of Joan Rivers. Not only was she a comedic legend, fashion icon, extraordinary business woman, but most importantly she was a genuine and caring person. One story comes to mind when I think of Joan's impact on her family, friends, fans, and QVC as a whole. Back when I was pregnant with Jericho I passed her in the hallway and said "Joan do you have any advice for a new Mom?" I expected some kind of joke or punch line, but instead she looked at me and said "cherish every moment of it." It was an amazing realization for me and proof that Joan Rivers was a kindhearted and loving individual. I am thinking of Melissa, Cooper, David Dangle and all who loved Joan.

Amy Stran

"Life goes by fast. Enjoy it. Calm down. It's all funny." -- Joan Rivers. You will be missed.

Sandra Bennett

The normal buzz in the studio and hallways of QVC was more subdued tonight. Everyone is so sad about Joan Rivers. Not because she was famous. Because she was kind. One of our stylists said it best to me, "Joan made everyone feel like they were someone special."

Dan Wheeler

"Life goes by fast. Enjoy it. Calm down. It's all funny." Here's a thought for the day from our dear friend Joan. God bless!

Antonella Nester

Joan Rivers was one of the kindest, sweetest, generous and humble people I know. Behind closed doors, she was an angel. I love her and will miss her too much. There are things I really want to share with you about Joan, and I will, but right now, I send prayers and love to her family. I am heart broken and at a huge loss.

Mary Beth Roe

Over the past 23+ years that I've known Joan, people would ask me, "What is she like in person? Is she rude or mean?" "No", I would say, because during all those years, she was only kind, caring and grateful. Every time we worked together, she would ask about my family. Every time I was going through a difficulty in my life like a very sick child or the deaths of my mom & dad, she would always say to me, "If you need anything or you need someone to call in the top docs, just call me." And she was sincere. I really loved Joan, and on this Thursday, I am so thankful I had the privilege of knowing Joan and being friends, because I got to see a hardworking, passionate, gracious person who truly cared about those around her. My prayers are for her family and close friends, like David and Eileen now. Thanks for the precious memories, Joan! You will be missed by many at QVC!

I am so grateful I was able to attend Joan River's funeral along with 5 of my favorite friends from QVC. There were tears, but there was a lot of laughter, and Joan would have been very pleased. Many Joan stories were told that were so funny, but then I would be jolted back to reality that there would be no more Joan stories made, and it would bring me to tears. The bagpipers from the NYPD played Amazing Grace at the end which gave me goosebumps, followed by Frank Sinatra's song New York, New York played by the bagpipes! It was the perfect ending to the celebration of Joan's life! We are all so blessed to have known her and to have laughed with her all these years.

Courtney Cason

Goodbye for now our sweet friend Joan Rivers. You were an amazing woman with a great heart. I know heaven must be laughing and smiling with their new found angel. Prayers and thoughts to Joan's friends, family, and team.

Pat James-Dementri

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all who loved Joan Rivers... Prayers of comfort for Melissa, Cooper, David Dangle and her QVC family and friends...there are many words to describe a women who was a trailblazer, inspiration and icon.. My heart is sad to say goodbye to Joan... One day I told her that my mom loved her perfume and soon a box arrived for my mom.. She was always generous of heart.. she taught us to work hard and be professional.. It will be hard to imagine QVC without her...she described herself as a simple girl with a dream... Here's to hoping all of your dreams came true... We will miss you for all eternity... Prayers and hugs...

Jayne Brown

I am so sad that we lost our friend Joan Rivers today. Joan was truly one of the hardest working women on TV. She was a very generous person. Always asked about how your family was doing. And could always make you laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Rest in peace.

Rick Domeier

For making us laugh until we cried, for always treating the backstage crew with respect, for all the promos, for Stormy Rivers, for taking time to write the forward to my book, for being a true inspiration... Thank you. The QVC family is sad today. R.I.P. Joan Rivers.

Dan Hughes

It is so difficult to post something like this without using the word "I" in it...and this is not about me. Have you ever used the phrase about some one and said "they MADE me laugh"? That was Joan Rivers, she didn't ask for your permission or bother to prepare you for what might be coming next. She preferred to not give you a choice in the matter. If she decided that you were the one that was going to smile, giggle or laugh she simply took the time to make it happen. With out your blessing she could force you to change your attitude or brighten your own day. She took the time to do that for people. Joan and I were at war for over 30 years, a wonderful beautiful and loving war of words. From an outsiders vantage point you might not understand just how much respect and true admiration we shared for each other. Her private (and loving) specialty with me was balding jokes, mine plastic surgery. There were no rules of political correctness between us because we knew each other well enough to know that it was the joke that mattered and neither ever meant harm. We kept score. When others pass each other in the hall with salutations, we hit each other with zingers and one liners.....
It was our game, our private little game, and yes, she MADE me laugh. She was truly brilliant in her word smithing of a joke. The fewest word possible for the biggest reaction. She walked passed me one day and simply said , "your HAIR looks nice today"...I knew she meant singular....and I smiled all day. I once hit her with a comment (and I wont share it here on face book) that to any one who might not know how much I loved that woman, would have called me heartless and cruel...and she used the line in her routine for over 20 years. Sorry for the world "I" in this message...I have already used it a few times already, but today, I cried in my truck on the way home.

Joan, if you could see facebook, read ALL the great things people are saying about you and your impact on their lives. Whether they were blessed to have truly known you or just witnessed your talent from afar...you made an impact on peoples lives, you made a difference, you MADE them smile, you stole their hearts and earned every bit of love an affection thrown your way. Saddened that our game is over and there is no more keeping score.....You won my friend. Not in jokes alone but in life itself. You won because we love you.

Jennifer Coffey

My deepest condolences to Joan Rivers' family and friends. She brought light and laughter into every life she touched, including my own. Thank you, Joan. You are so very missed already.

Shawn Killinger

I was always nervous to work w her bc she was "that" big. And yet she was so disarming you wished she were ur neighbor u cud hv coffee with. Joan Rivers, u will never know the pride I had coming to Qvc and telling people I had met you. And the day u told me the way to meet a good man was to go on 50 coffee dates, is tenderly etched on my heart. To Melissa Rivers, Cooper, david Dangle and the JR Worldwide team...I'm just so sorry.

Albany Irvin

It's been a sad day here at the Q. Joan Rivers was not a guest...She was FAMILY!!! She was smart, saavy, commpassionate, kind, encouraging, and uplifting. I was always humbled that she would remember my children and ask about my life. She truly had a heart for people. We miss you already. My life has been enriched simply by knowing you and spending time with you!!! XOXO

Sharon Faetsch

My heart is breaking at the news of Joan Rivers passing earlier today. I have so many amazing memories of working with her. She made me laugh so many times on the air, it hurt. But, what surprised me the most was that behind the scenes, she was one of the most caring and sincere people that I had ever met. I will hold the memories that I have of her close through the rest of my life. Joan, my dear, you will be truly missed.

Jacque Gonzales

I don't know where to begin. I can't believe that we've lost Joan. She meant so much to me. The Joan you saw on TV compared to the woman I got to know over the past 12 years - are very different. She'd always ask about my mom (who never liked Joan - thinking she was loud and rude - until I introduced them - and my mother agreed that she was very sweet and kind.), she knew how devastated I was at the loss of my dog Bo - and she encouraged me everyday to adopt a new dog; she always asked about my daughter and husband (he worked with her as a producer at QVC in the late 90's); she was so caring when we lost my father in law and when my brother in law became ill. Whenever I needed advice - she was there in an instant to help. She didn't have to do any of those things - she was "Joan Rivers"! But the real Joan had a heart of gold. A generous, loving and caring woman.

We were just talking last week about how much fun we were going to have on our upcoming show on Sept 19th with "Joan Rivers & Dennis Basso". She said "We just hang on and Dennis will do everything in the show! He'll sell his things, he'll sell my things - you and I just get to have fun!" I couldn't wait.

Every show we did together she'd say to me "It's your show darling and I know that I'm in good hands with you - so let's have fun." It was one of the greatest compliments I've ever received.

After she adopted Teegan, her Japanese Chin - he was getting accustomed to all the people around Joan - he instantly jumped onto my chair and sat with me. She said it was a big deal because Teegan was still skittish. Then Teegan jumped off of my chair and onto Joan's lap - she was so happy - it was the first time he had done that! It was a truly special moment.

My heart breaks for Melissa and Cooper - her fur babies, her many loved ones and fans.

I pray that she's with her beloved Edgar, Spike - and all of the pets she's lost over the years - and that she and Johnny Carson are once again the best of friends performing together in Heaven - with Robin Williams of course.

To our little bee - Joan - you achieved the impossible - and your spirit, kindness, humor, inspiration and love will live on inside all of those you've touched.

May God be with you and your loved ones always.

Until we meet again...
Jacque

There are celebrities who come to the Q & act like celebs, then there was Joan. Kind & beyond generous to every person she met, & that included me as a brand new host years ago. I just truly thought she would make it through. My girls & I prayed for her & we will pray for Melissa & David & her entire family. Grief & sadness & a huge void at the Q, she will just be missed so deeply.

Carolyn Gracie

I was very sad to learn of the passing of our dear Joan Rivers. I, like so many, had been holding out hope that she would somehow bolt upright out of her hospital bed and be better than new again. She truly had a heart of gold, and was a force to be reckoned with. She was BIG on pet rescue and so kind to animals. She was an inspiration to so many and we always loved having her at the Q. I remember being so nervous the first time I had the opportunity to work with her, but that feeling lasted all of 20 seconds. She was warm, generous, so helpful and SHE laughed at MY jokes. And she loved that I always "got" hers. She would say things that only I could hear and have both of us cracking up through the whole presentation. She would always say to me afterward, "You know, you are really great. Why don't we work together more often?" What an incredible compliment, coming from such a legend. I will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and with all those who love her. I will never forget what it was like to share a stage with such an incredible lady. The world is a little less funny today and I know her cabaret show in heaven tonight is standing room only. We'll miss you Joan. We'll never forget you.

Leah Williams

There is a very nice security guard named Peter at QVC. On my way out of the building today, he said his usual goodbye and then added, “It’s a sad day”. He was talking of course about the passing of Joan Rivers. He went on to tell me that he hadn’t known much about Joan when he first came to work at QVC six years ago. But whenever she would leave the studio after a visit, she would stop at his security desk and give him m&m candies from her green room. He said he didn’t think of her as an entertainment icon, she was just the really nice lady who always thought enough of the security guard to stop, say hello, and share a sweet treat. That story truly expresses what was remarkable and wonderful about Joan Rivers. She was kind and thoughtful, and gracious and caring, and just happened to be an entertainment legend. We will miss her, but the joy she brought to all who knew her will live on.

Rachel Boesing

Thank you for the laughter Joan Rivers. May you rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Lisa Robertson

I have tried to collect my thoughts all afternoon about Joan, but I just can't. I do not know how to express, in a simple FB post what a tremendous loss it is, what a brilliant, funny and kind person she was, and how honored I am that she felt I was worth caring about. No matter what happened, no matter how difficult things were, she never gave up and she always made us laugh. She was one of the most pragmatic and inspiring people I have ever known, and she is greatly missed.

Happy Birthday Capricorns - Alberti & Jennifer!

We always love it when we get to celebrate a hosts’ birthday. To start the New Year, we have a bonus by having two hosts, Alberti Popaj and Jennifer Coffey, that share the same birthday, January 5th. Since they are both Capricorn’s, we thought it would be fun to find out who is a truer Capricorn by answering a few questions about their personality.

Let's start with Jennifer:

Q) Who do you rely on most?

A) Besides God? My daughter! She's my rock. And helps me put it all into perspective. If I had a dollar for every time she reminded me that "Mom, life's too short to worry!"

Q) If your best friend swears she knows the name of the song you’re listening to, but you know she’s wrong, would you correct her or let her think she’s right?

A) My BFF is the ONLY person I'd correct...we bicker like sisters!

Q) When you have your heart set on a goal, how do you go about reaching it?

A) My process is to "Imagine, Believe, and Gratefully Receive." I visualize what I want, I hand it over to God, and I begin acting grateful as though it's already in my life. Two words: It. Works.

Q) Have you ever started a project and not finished it?

A) There's a 1,000-piece puzzle I was determined to finish before my 40th birthday...let's just say I won't be posting a pic of the progress I've made on January 5th!!

Q) How much of a Capricorn do YOU think you are?

A) 95% Capricorn...except for the stubborn part. And I'm sticking to it! :-)

Tell us a joke!

There were three men on a hill with their watches.
The first man threw his watch down the hill and it broke.
The second man threw his watch down the hill and it broke.
The third man threw his watch down the hill, walked all the way to the bottom, and caught it.
The other two men were puzzled and asked the third man how he did it.
The third man said, "Easy. My watch is 5 minutes slow!"

Now it's Alberti's turn;

Q) What’s your favorite way to spend a free day?

A) I love spending a free day with friends.  Inviting them over, making a meal or just watching a classic film in my family room makes me the happiest person ever (That and having a clean house!!).

Q) What’s the biggest thing you’ve ever achieved?

 A) I always set mini-goals for myself, and find that they sum up to big achievements in life all together.  But If I was going to separate one out as my “biggest achievement,” it would have to be getting my job at the Q.  It involved countless auditions, lots of pep talks from my friends and family, and a very big move from Los Angeles to West Chester – and it all happened within a 3-4 month time span!  It was the most “life changing” experience for me, and it wasn’t “easy” by any means.  I’m glad I did it though, because it has also been the biggest blessing for me.

Q) What’s your morning routine?

A) First thing in the morning I throw on my sweats and take the dogs (Prince Charming and Coco) out for a quick walk! They are my #1 priority, and I want to make sure that they have a happy life.  When we come back to the house, we all get our breakfast.  Most days I have a smoothie, but sometimes I indulge in something heartier.  Then it’s time to clean up the house, myself, and head out for that day’s adventure!

Q) What’s your most Capricorn-like trait?

A) Ambitious and Disciplined

Tell us a joke!

Q: Why did the dinosaur cross the road?
A: Because the chicken joke wasn't invented yet. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This was fun and we hope it gave you a little insight to their personalities.

Thanks and Happy Birthday Jennifer and Alberti

Host Love Stories!

Love is in the air! Find out how some of our hosts met their special Valentines. They're sharing their love stories with you!

Amy Stran

After college I was a part of a traveling children’s theatre group. For a year I toured around, performing and pursuing my passion for theater. After a year, I decided to move to New York City with my best friend from college to take my acting career to the next level. As you may have heard, the acting world isn’t the easiest biz to break into, so while I auditioned for various roles I also worked as a waitress/hostess at a restaurant in Manhattan. It was at this restaurant that I met and became close with one of the bartenders. Said bartender just happened to be my husband and best friend, Steve!!

Carolyn Gracie

My husband and I met in 1984 while we were both working at a radio station in Indianapolis. I was DJ and he was a producer. We actually didn’t like each other when we first met, but we ended up going out to a Mexican restaurant a few times with a big group from work, and eventually he asked me out on a date….one Mother’s Day, I’ll never forget. Two years later, we decided to move to L.A. and got engaged! We’re such opposites…he’s a quiet, reserved, but funny guy, and I’m talkative and always trying to make friends with everyone. But you know what they say, opposites attract, and we couldn’t be more of team!

Dan Wheeler

Beth and I met on a train commuting to work in downtown Chicago in September of 1978!

Dan and I met when I was a waitress at a huge bar in Los Angeles 12 years ago. I actually went out with his best friend before I met Dan. I was in love within weeks… and 7 months later we were engaged!

My mother called and said, “I have the guy for you!” She met him one night at church and then immediately called me in Eau Claire and begged me to ome home the following weekend. I made the four-hour drive home to meet Mark and later found out he told his coworkers, “I just met the girl I’m going to marry.

Happy Vday. ❤💋 Truth told, there were many years I hated this 'card store' holiday. Seeing giant hearts floating in store windows is no fun when ur hopelessly single. So how'd I meet my husband Joe? Eharmony. Thank you Neil Clark Warren. I swore I would never do online dating. But then some kind of supernatural courage hit me (plus I was tired of sitting in my Jammies on Friday nights) and I went online.

I met Judson in October of 2000.  I was visiting my girlfriend Marisa in New York for the weekend and a friend of hers invited us to a concert at S.O.B.’s in Soho.   Her friend lived in Baltimore but was driving up for the show because he was related to the artist and had the “hook-up.”  When we arrived at the venue her friend hadn’t arrived yet so we had to wait outside.  After about 20 minutes Marisa’s friend pulled up to the curb in a white Lexus and out from the passenger side stepped my future husband.  We talked and flirted all night but never saw each other again until about 8 months later and the rest is history!

Both Amy and I are from the same small town in Minnesota. We met in summer, at the annual Heritagefest celebration. While people drank beer and danced to polka music, I walked over and said 'Hello'.

And thankfully, she didn't run away.

Happy Valentine's Day.
